Simulation and manufacturing of modified circular monopole microstrip antenna for UWB applications

Ultra-wideband (UWB) technology is one of the most promising wireless communication solutions to be developed quickly because high-speed data, wide bandwidth and excellent immunity multipath interference. In this work, compact design a modified circular monopole microstrip antenna simulated manufactured for UWB applications. The simulation process proposed was done based on finite integration Computer Simulation Technology (CST) Microwave Studio (MWS). comprises copper radiating patch, Roger’s Kappa-438 substrate, single stub act as reflector. results showed reasonable agreement with measurement good performance achieved in range from 1.8 10 GHz VSWR less than 2.0.
